We would usually aim to begin the move at 8.30. However, naturally we are happy to adjust this depending on the customer’s individual requirements.
Due to the nature of the business, and the need to plan our vans and teams in advance, we do ask for a deposit. If the house move is changed less than a week before the original move date, then we may not be able to refund the deposit. However, we are a friendly family business and therefore we will work with you to reschedule the move and ensure that we do our best to reschedule if possible.
We require a £50 deposit to confirm your booking. Only once this has been paid will your booking be confirmed. Failure to pay the £50 could result in the loss of the allotted date. Full payment is due on the day of the removal.
M&M Removals and Storage have public liability up to £2million and goods in transit insurance up to £10000. However, having said this, we have numerous happy customers because we do our best to treat your possessions as though they were our own, so we do our level best to avoid any accidents.
We understand that postponements are sometimes inevitable. If you do postpone, we charge based on the notice period that we are given on the understanding that we have numerous costs associated with a removal that we may still incur when the postponement is late. Here is our charging structure based on the notice given: - More than 5 working days prior to the date of your booking - no charge- Between 2 and 5 working days prior to the date of your booking - 10% charge.
No. We offer a friendly and understanding service and if delays are communicated, we try to work with the client to reduce the stress on the day.
We do sell tape and boxes. Please get in touch and we would be happy to get some boxes to you for the house move?
Yes. Simply get in touch with your local authority and they will be happy to help. They do usually need a minimum of 5 days’ notice however, so make sure you leave plenty of time before the house move before ticking this job off the list.
If you have paid a deposit, this will ensure your booking is secured. However, if you are going to change the booking, we need at least one week’s notice.
